1. ব্যক্তিকে বোঝানোর জন্য:

2. বস্তু বোঝানোর জন্য:

যখন নির্দিষ্ট কোনো বস্তু উল্লেখ না করে সাধারণভাবে কিছু বোঝানো হয়।
উদাহরণ:

  • Something is wrong with this machine.
    (এই যন্ত্রে কিছু একটা সমস্যা আছে।)
  • Nothing is impossible in life.
    (জীবনে কিছুই অসম্ভব নয়।)

3. ব্যক্তি ও বস্তু উভয় বোঝানোর জন্য:

যখন ব্যক্তি এবং বস্তু উভয়ই বোঝানো হয়।

    (সবাই সভায় আমন্ত্রিত।)

    (আজ বেশিরভাগ শিক্ষার্থী উপস্থিত।)

  1. নির্দিষ্ট কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে বোঝায় না:
    Indefinite Pronoun সবসময় অনির্দিষ্টতা বোঝায়।
